Leadership Team

John Gengarella

John Gengarella brings more than 25 years of experience delivering leading software solutions across a variety of industry verticals. He began his career in the fitness industry, owning several clubs in northern California. Prior to joining Netpulse, he served as the CEO of Voxify, a cloud customer interaction software solution for contact centers, until its acquisition by 24/7 Customer. Subsequently, he served as the chief revenue officer of 24/7 Customer and led the acquisition of Tellme, a division of Microsoft.

John holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

John Ford

John Ford started his career in fitness technology as the founder of Virtual Active – a first person, running, hiking, and cycling video experience distributed to millions of exercisers around the world. Having retired from running around the world with high-tech camera gear, John now spends his time building mobile technology that helps health clubs engage members, drive revenue and enhance the club experience.

Greg Skloot
VP Growth

Greg is an entrepreneur building technology for the fitness industry. As VP Growth at Netpulse, Greg leads sales, customer success, marketing and operations for the #1 provider of mobile apps for health clubs. He splits time between San Francisco and visiting club operators all over the world, helping them leverage mobile to grow their businesses. Prior to joining Netpulse, Greg was Co-founder and CEO of Attend.com, where he raised $3M in VC funding and led a team of 30 employees. Greg is a frequent author and speaker about marketing and digital strategy. He is the author of several ebooks, including StartupsHeartCustomers.com, a popular online guide to sales and marketing. He holds a B.S. from Northeastern University, where he sits on the Alumni Board.

Alex Peacock
VP International

Alex has been building and leading organisations in the fitness technology sector since 1998. In his previous role as founder and Managing Director of Zoom Media’s European division, Alex led the company’s development into the clear market leader in digital fitness media in the UK and Germany.

Prior to Zoom Media, Alex established Music Marketing Services as the UK’s largest provider of audio visual systems to the fitness industry, before joining Amer Sports in 2005 to head up sales and distribution across Europe, Middle East and Africa for their newly acquired ClubCom and Cardio Theater brands.

Bryan Arp,
Co-Founder & Special Advisor to the Board

As a leader in the fitness and technology industries for two decades, Bryan’s vision has catapulted Netpulse to the forefront as the industry’s dominant interactive media platform. His passion for product development, localized media delivery and cutting-edge technology led to the creation of the Netpulse platform and many other embedded commercial products. His products engage millions of consumers under multiple brands to build healthier lifestyles. Bryan has an undergraduate degree from Capital University and a graduate degree from San Francisco State University. Bryan is an avid mountain biker and uses multiple devices, in addition to Netpulse-connected fitness equipment, to track his workouts.
